Job Summary
Oversee lab operations including specimen reception, scanning, and quality control while leading and mentoring a team of Digital Pathology Assistants. Ensure compliance with ISO standards (15189, 27001, 9001), troubleshoot lab issues, and manage client queries to drive operational excellence. Contribute to projects involving AI integration and wet-lab expansion within a growing digital pathology environment. This full-time role offers up to £50,000 DOE plus an annual bonus, with flexible hybrid working options and access to continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC registration
- Specialist BMS portfolio completed
- Experience in Histology and specimen selection
- Wet-lab experience
- Digital pathology knowledge
