Plan and track container movement using efficient daily routing, ensuring time-sensitive cargo reaches its destination within established terms. Coordinate and problem-solve pickups and deliveries with contract drivers, partner carriers, rail operators, and port personnel while dispatching work orders for trucks, rail, and barge. Communicate daily with customers, terminal personnel, and internal representatives to resolve issues and proactively report delays. Handle customer inquiries with empathy, record and audit documents for equipment tracking, and manage additional costs. Update relevant systems to track appointments and drays, authorize equipment drops, and monitor container idling.
