Job Summary
Develop and maintain global pricing models for long-tail lines and mail-in casualty, while reviewing technical pricing adequacy and validating model assumptions. Support the establishment of Pricing Guidelines and Governance, and build relationships with underwriters and actuaries worldwide to drive global consistency. Conduct regular pricing trainings for stakeholders and participate in cross-functional projects focused on increasing data quality. Leverage proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, R, and Python to ensure accuracy and reliability in pricing outputs.
Required Qualifications
- At least a Master degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
- Experience in actuarial pricing, ideally with exposure to Long-tail business and technical pricing models
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to take responsibility for topics and drive them forward
- Proficient in the use of statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, Python, Emblem) as well as Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills and ability to act as a functional lead and sparring partner in an international environment
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across functions (Underwriting, Actuarial, IT)
- Strong curiosity to explore new technologies such as Generative AI and continuously build hands-on expertise
- Strong proficiency in English (C1) written and spoken
