Specialist - Accounts Payable

Job Summary
Process invoices, verify vendor accounts, and reconcile account transactions with the general ledger to ensure accuracy of submitted documents. Respond to external vendors and internal managers regarding the accounts payable process, including generating payments on a routine schedule, matching checks with backups, and resolving purchase order or payment discrepancies. Assist with bank reconciliations, document loans, and develop a filing system for financial information while keeping informed of regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal departments to gather and interpret relevant financial data, ensuring all expenses are charged correctly to accounts and cost centers.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years previous experience in a similar role
- A degree or certification in a relevant field
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English preferred
- Experience in hospitality preferred
