Job Summary
Specialist – Accounting Operations responsible for achieving SLAs for the accounting operations team, managing month-end/quarter-end bank reconciliations (daily matching, clearing open items, accruals), coordinating with controllers and other finance teams to clear open items and balance-sheet reconciliations, and supporting audits. Role involves identifying automation opportunities within the process, maintaining ISO-compliant documentation, and collaborating with onshore and global teams. Must be able to work in shifts, hybrid environment, and demonstrate strong Excel/ERP skills along with attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and effective communication. The position is with Marsh Corporate (Mumbai/Pune) and requires a Commerce undergraduate degree with 4+ years of experience, with hybrid work arrangements and office presence as specified by local teams.
Required Qualifications
- Commerce Graduate
- 4+ years of work experience
- Oracle/ERP
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (Macro preferable)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work within tight deadlines
- Ability to deal with multiple formats of data & large volumes of data
- Good communication skills
