Job Summary
Specialist-Accounts Payable responsible for accurate and timely entry of vendor invoices in the ERP system, including domestic and international raw material purchases; process invoice and check request forms; review variances between goods receipt and invoice receipt; support month-end close with journal entries and analyses; ensure compliance with AP policies; identify improvement opportunities; provide audit support and maintain desk procedures; build strong stakeholder relations and back up other roles as needed; maintain safe working practices as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associated Degree or equivalent work experience in corporate accounts payable function
- College courses in accounting, preferred
- AP Specialist certification a plus
