Job Summary
Responsible for purchasing routine materials, obtaining quotes from standard vendors, and creating purchase requisitions. Assists in asset management, data entry into asset management databases, and delivering equipment to end users. Processes invoices and coordinates with Accounting on supplier questions; supports supplier and contractor negotiations and compiles data for negotiations. Requires regular attendance and flexibility to work nights/weekends. Education Bachelor's Degree preferred, with consideration for combinations of coursework and experience; 0-2 years of related experience is typical. Emphasizes teamwork, customer experience, and adherence to Comcast’s operating principles; opportunities span multiple locations and teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years in related procurement/purchasing experience
- Ability to review requests, obtain quotes from standard vendors, create purchase requisitions, and process invoices
- Experience with asset management and data entry into asset management systems
- Willingness to work nights and weekends, variable schedule, and overtime as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; combination of coursework and experience considered
- Experience in purchasing/procurement or vendor management is a plus
