Job Summary
Provide personal care including grooming and hygiene for older guests across Wahroonga & Terrey Hills Cottages. Deliver care in accordance with individual care plans and support clients during overnight or extended stays. Maintain accurate documentation, communicate changes in care professionally, and promote guest dignity through daily activities. You must be available to work morning, afternoon, or night shifts. Full training is provided for all care workers, and we offer salary packaging, additional leave benefits, and fitness passport access.
Required Qualifications
- Available to work across our Wahroonga & Terrey Hills sites
- You're a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused
- You have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care
- You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car
- Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
- Empathy and compassion are a must
- Good administrative and computer skills, including the use of a smartphone
- A strong team player, who can communicate professionally
- Changes in care
- Complete all documentation
- Maintain confidentiality
- Consent to a criminal record and reference checks
- Attend a pre-employment functional assessment
Desired Qualifications
- First Aid certificate desirable
