Job Summary
Perform touch-freight tasks involving lifting, moving, or carrying products over 75 lbs. Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy while notifying management of site hazards. Set up job parameters, inspect the environment for safe loading/unloading, and maintain communication with the dispatcher for timely delivery. Adhere to all DOT and company safety procedures, wearing appropriate PPE at all times. Requires a valid Class A or B CDL, 12 months of commercial driving experience, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift, move, or carry products weighing over 75 lbs
- Must follow all DOT and company safety procedures
- Must wear appropriate PPE
Desired Qualifications
- Conveyor truck experience preferred
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Experience driving a manual transmission truck
