Job Summary

Conduct structural analysis of safety-related structures under seismic and impactive loading using state-of-the-art software like SAP2000 and LS-DYNA. Prepare design calculations, develop specifications, and support drawing development for new nuclear facilities and plant upgrades. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to guide engineering deliverables and perform field verification at client and vendor sites. Apply modern tools and automation to solve engineering problems, reduce rework, and improve workflows. No U.S. work authorization sponsorship available.

Required Qualifications

  • MS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Three or more years of experience working as a member of a project team in the design and analysis of structures
  • Proficiency with structural analysis software such as SAP2000, STRUDL, SASSI, ANSYS, or LS-DYNA
  • Proficiency with analysis and design codes and standards such as ASCE 4, ASCE 43, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant site locations for construction coordination and field verification of designs
  • You are expected to take engineering problems from issue to solution using data and modern tools such as automation and AI to improve workflows, reduce rework, and deliver cost-effective designs
  • Many engineers in these roles build or use automation to create calculations, summarize technical documents, or draft design documentation, including appropriate use of agentic AI tools, with strong engineering judgment and verification of results
  • Programming or scripting (e.g., Python, MATLAB, advanced Excel) to automate calculations, design checks, reporting, or data transformation
  • additional learning, such as a minor, certificate, or other training in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or related fields that helps you apply automation or agentic AI to real engineering problems

Desired Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree
  • Experience with design and analysis of power plant and/or industrial structures
  • On site construction support experience
  • PE or SE license
