Job Summary
Special Security Representative at MIT Lincoln Laboratory leads and coordinates security programs across Physical Security, Materials Control & Accountability, Personnel Security, and Security Education/OPSEC, plus Risk Management and Emergency Action Planning. The role requires performing in a security-focused environment with DoD/regulatory compliance experience and an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a Bachelor’s degree (or 2+ years of related work experience), and U.S. citizenship. Flexible, hybrid remote work arrangements are supported, with the potential for occasional off-hours work and travel as needed. A background check and government polygraph are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of security compliance experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO), Top Secret Control Officer (TSCO), or Program Security Officer (PSO).
- Ability to read, understand and apply DoD SAP/SCI Community and Intelligence Community directives and manuals (NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117, applicable ICDs).
- Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 2 years of work experience.
- Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Successfully pass a background check and consent to undergoing a government polygraph examination.
