Job Summary
Respond to dispatch requests for service and deploy to locations throughout the Chicagoland area, maintaining a stand-by schedule of two shifts per day, six days a week. Effectively utilize technology including tablets, access control systems, visitor management systems, and CCTV to secure client facilities. Ensure vendors and visitors are properly signed in and out, observe departing personnel to prevent theft, and monitor security cameras. Conduct general patrols during various hours, including flights of stairs and exterior areas in any weather conditions, while clearly recording data on property damage, unusual occurrences, and equipment malfunctions. Maintain accurate logs and provide excellent customer service. Be on-call and prepared for deployment with little or no advanced notice.
Required Qualifications
- Speak, read and write the English language fluently
- Understand written procedures and respond accordingly
- Own a reliable vehicle that meets the Illinois law outlining vehicle insurance requirements
- Possess a valid Illinois driver's license
- Be on-call and prepared for deployment to various client sites with little/ no advanced notice
- Scheduled to be on stand-by two shifts per day, 6-days a week
- Promptly respond to dispatch requests for service and deploy to locations within the Chicagoland area
- Effectively utilize technology to assist clients in securing their facilities (tablets, access control systems, visitor management systems and CCTV systems)
- Ensure vendors and visitors are properly signed in/out
- Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of property
- Monitor security cameras that are within the facility
- Respond to incidents including property emergencies
- Conduct general patrols during various hours, including numerous flights of stairs and frequent patrols of the exterior in any weather conditions
- Clearly and accurately record data such as property damage, unusual occurrences, and malfunctioning of equipment
- Maintain clear and accurate logs
- Provide excellent customer service while on duty
- Travel is required occasionally
