Job Summary
Coordinate, install, repair, and maintain sheet metal and duct systems while performing field fabrication and assisting with HVAC equipment assembly. Install hangers, supports, and related components, and plan work sequences to meet project schedules. Manage materials efficiently, inspect installations for compliance, and read blueprints and technical specifications. Maintain tools and equipment, load/unload deliveries, and collaborate with contractors and stakeholders. Mentor apprentices and laborers, foster continuous improvement, and adhere to OSHA regulations and safety policies. Maintain a clean work area and follow all company safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial sheet metal or HVAC field operations
- Stable employment history
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Must provide basic hand tools
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery safely
- Vision correctable to 20/50
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds safely
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including shift work and overtime as needed

Desired Qualifications
- Prior sheet metal shop experience
- Journeyman License
- Trade school education or training
- Trade School certification
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and HVAC installation practices
- Ability to fabricate offsets and fittings
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to perform basic material takeoffs
- Experience installing HVAC equipment
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and productivity
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
