Job Summary
Lead major capital projects across the Sutton Housing Partnership Estate, defining outcomes, establishing budgets, and managing timescales for refurbishment and retro-fit sustainable initiatives ranging from £1m to £15m. Oversee the development of comprehensive business cases to secure funding and ensure procurement aligns with House guidelines. Manage external consultant teams and act as the client representative to the Project Board, proactively delivering estate-wide property improvements while meeting stakeholder needs throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of planned/capital works surveying experience in housing refurbishment contracts
- 5+ years management of 8+ technical staff members
- Strong contract management background in housing refurbishment contracts within a local authority or housing assn
- Ability to lead on the management of multiple housing refurbishment contracts/projects ranging from 150k to 25 million
- Ability to lead on housing refurbishment contracts procurement
