Job Summary
Manage and operate Special Projects to achieve annual sales and operating income goals by prospecting new customers and partnering with Limbach Collaborative Services for value engineering reviews. Develop complete scopes for design-assist or design-build opportunities, write bid proposals, and perform material, labor, and equipment take-offs. Attend pre-bid meetings and project walk-throughs to gather site conditions, contact customers to secure commitments, and execute new contract implementations. Track job costs, monthly forecasts, and cash collections while training direct reports and executing HR-related decisions. Requires 5-10 years of industry experience, local travel up to 50%, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of hands-on, industry-specific experience
- Demonstrated ability to engage in effective collaboration and communication (both written and verbal)
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
- Capacity to leverage interpersonal skills to develop and enhance business relationships
- Ability to travel locally up to 50% of the time to meet customers, attend meetings, entertain, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree [in a construction-related field] or equivalent preferred
- Extensive HVAC or plumbing background preferred
- Previous experience with CAD and/or project management software preferred
