Special Projects Manager (CA Candidate Pool)

Special Projects Manager for Summit Public Schools in the California Bay Area leads project and event management, supports office operations, oversees whole-school systems, drives student recruitment and enrollment, and strengthens family and community engagement. Reporting to the Dean of Operations, the role acts as the right hand to the DOO, coordinating school-wide culture initiatives, logistics for events and meetings, front desk operations, data management, vendor relations, onboarding/offboarding, communications with families and staff, and collaboration with multiple school teams to ensure operational excellence. Key duties include developing implementation plans for school-wide projects, organizing events such as celebrations of learning and college fairs, managing office processes and records, supporting recruitment activities, producing family-facing communications, and contributing to continuous improvement of school systems. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), relevant experience in community engagement or operations or project management within a school or office setting, fluency in English and Spanish (preferred), and strong skills in Google Workspace, communication, organization, and relationship-building.
