Job Summary
Special Projects Associate collaborates directly with the Founder to drive Singapore market entry, develop initial hiring plans, support fundraising and investor outreach, establish A1’s presence in Singapore, and manage operating structures and external relationships. The role requires a high generalist ability across strategy, hiring, operations, and execution, strong judgment and clear communication with senior stakeholders, thriving in ambiguity, and the independence to turn ideas into actionable plans while tracking priorities and removing bottlenecks.
Required Qualifications
- Background in consulting (MBB), top-tier VC, startups, or high-performance operating roles
- Strong generalist - able to switch between strategy, hiring, operations, and execution
- High agency - does not wait for instructions, figures things out and moves
- Strong judgment - able to prioritize what matters and make decisions with incomplete information
- Clear and concise communication - comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external partners
- High reliability - consistently follows through and delivers
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment
