Job Summary
Special Project Associate II in the Krieger lab at Mayo Clinic (Jacksonville, FL) supports federally funded health communication research projects. Responsibilities include organizing and preparing presentation materials; data entry, cleaning, and basic analyses; assisting the Principal Investigator and fellows with lab tasks and project coordination; preparing manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations for peer-reviewed journals and scientific meetings; recruiting participants via site visits and outreach events; exploring incorporation of virtual humans and e-health technologies into research; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and community partners; and developing practical research skills with opportunities to lead a publication.
Required Qualifications
- Current curriculum vitae with bibliography
- Proof of highest degree received (if awarded a Bachelor's or Master's degree)
- Two letters of recommendation to the hiring PI (may be requested)
- Proof of English proficiency for J-1 Short-Term Scholars, Research Scholars, Professors, Specialists, and Student Interns sponsored by Mayo Clinic
