Job Summary
Oversee JCPS Choice Programs recruitment and application processes (AVID, CTLA, Early College, Fire Science, IB, IDEAL, JOCO Teach); direct and plan co-curricular opportunities for students; meet with students and parents to discuss programs, pathways, and courses; ensure stakeholders have accurate, timely information about programs; assist Student Services with communication and promotion of special programs and extracurricular activities; oversee development and operation of student clubs; research and implement innovative programs to foster college and life readiness; partner with government agencies to forecast county needs for special programs; compile and analyze data for local, state, and federal reports; meet with advisory groups and external committees to gather information and support JCPS programs; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a North Carolina Professional Educator’s license.
- A North Carolina license in Administration and/or Supervision is preferred.
