Job Summary
Special Process Technician on 3rd Shift responsible for operating cleaning, polishing, deburring, and pressure testing hardware, and for manufacturing/tests of parts per engineering and customer standards. Maintains accurate documentation, removes burrs and sharp edges to spec, ensures proper part identification and records, communicates shift requirements, performs routine maintenance on machines and equipment, and keeps the cellular manufacturing area organized and compliant with standards. Requires High School diploma or GED, at least six months of related experience, ability to lift 50 lbs (with lift assist if needed), push/pull 60 lbs, 50 lbs grip strength, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain security clearance if required. Drug testing and equal employment opportunity commitments are noted.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Minimum of six months experience in cleaning, polishing, deburring, and pressure testing hardware
- Reads, understands and interprets basic blueprint drawings
- Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. (lift assist or assistance as needed)
- Must be capable of pushing or pulling 60 lbs.
- Must have grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed
- Pre-employment drug testing per policy
