Job Summary
The Special Procedures Technologist assists in performing diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic radiologic and ultrasonic-guided imaging procedures in surgical environments. Responsibilities include maintaining sterile preparation, ensuring proper documentation, completing mandatory educational assignments, adhering to organizational policies for confidentiality and safety, and participating in on-call responsibilities. Required qualifications include a Radiologic Technology degree from an accredited program, BLS certification, and relevant state licensure. Preferred qualifications consist of an Associates or Bachelors degree with 1+ years of experience in interventional settings. The role demands a strong understanding of imaging systems and commitment to patient safety.

- Radiologic Technology Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist Program
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) - Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA)
- Computed Tomography (CT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
