Job Summary
Join the Interventional Radiology department as a Per Diem Special Procedures Technologist, utilizing state-of-the-art imaging equipment for advanced procedures like angiograms and biopsies. Collaborate with Radiologists, ensuring high standards of patient safety and compliance with regulations. Candidates must have completed a two-year AMA-approved radiographic program, possess relevant licenses and certifications, and demonstrate strong patient care skills.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of two year AMA-approved school of radiographic technology required
- Current valid NYS License required
- American Registry of Radiological Technology Registry/ARRT (R) required
- BLS certificate required.
- Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.
- Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive info. including but not limited to patients & staff of the health system.
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of NYSDOH and JCAHO regulations for established radiation guidelines.
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of Interventional experience preferred
