Job Summary
Performs and assists with interventional and imaging procedures under the direction of a Senior Special Procedures Technologist. Explains procedures to patients, positions and prepares radiographic equipment, and ensures appropriate equipment settings. Responsible for accessing patient information (appointments, exam types, patient reports), scheduling and modifying exams in computer systems, and adhering to departmental protocols and standards. Maintains quality assurance and demonstrates competency in equipment setup, utilization, and maintenance; provides patient education and support throughout the procedure. Essential functions as defined by ADA. Requires vocational/technical diploma, NY radiology license, ARRT registration, and 1–3 years of technical experience.

- Vocational or Technical school Diploma, required
- Current license to practice as a Radiology Technologist in New York State, required
- Current ARRT Radiology registration, required
