Job Summary
Assist physicians with patient preparation, intra- and post-interventional/surgical procedures, and direct patient care in the Interventional department. Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, and specialized imaging equipment while maintaining competency in vascular, non-vascular, and interventional technical skills. Manage supplies and devices, ensure adherence to radiation safety practices, and complete a full caseload assignment. Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Requires NYDOH license, ARRT certification, and ability to take scheduled call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology
- NYDOH License
- ARRT Certification
- Must demonstrate high-tech skills
- Must be able to take scheduled call rotation
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) or more years of experience as a practicing OR x-ray technologist in a high-volume setting
- Experience in Special Procedures
