Special Procedures Tech - PD Days

Special Procedures Tech assists the Cardiologist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Responsibilities include setup and passing of catheters and equipment for interventional procedures (e.g., stent implantations, endomyocardial biopsies, transseptal approaches), monitoring ECG, blood pressure, and oxygenation, maintaining aseptic technique, applying ALARA and radiation-safety practices, infection control, and ensuring safe delivery of patient care. Requires technician-level radiologic credentials (CRT, ARRT license), BCLS/ACLS, fluoroscopy license, and graduation from AMA-approved radiologic technology program. Per diem role based in Torrance, CA, with duties spanning room preparation, equipment troubleshooting, patient education at discharge, and collaboration with Cardiology leadership and vendors.
