Job Summary
Lead and supervise a team of Special Procedures Technologists, including scheduling, training, and evaluating staff performance. Perform specialized imaging procedures such as fluoroscopy and angiography, operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to infection control standards. Provide guidance and support to team members, prepare patients for procedures, address questions, and collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree Radiologic Technology required
- Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
- Radiologic Technologist [MA] required
- Registered Technologist [ARRT-R] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
- Experience as a Radiologic Technologist 3-5 years required
- Experience in special procedures within a hospital setting 2-3 years required
- Experience in a leadership role 1-2 years preferred
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Advanced proficiency in operating specialized imaging equipment and performing complex procedures
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on safety and comfort
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
