Job Summary
A clinically competent professional who collaborates with RNs and physicians in the cardiology and radiology angiography suites to provide radiologic assistance for diagnostic/interventional angiographic procedures. Essential duties include scrubbing and assisting during diagnostic/interventional angiographic procedures, operating angiographic equipment to obtain and optimize diagnostic imaging, and preparing sterile table setup for angiographic/implant procedures. Competency may include scrubbing in Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, or Interventional Neuro-Radiology, as determined by orientation and management.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Illinois RT license
- ARRT and IEMA certifications
- CPR
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- Previous radiology experience
- Preferred: Interventional Cardiology, Radiology, or Neuro-Radiology
