Job Summary
Coordinate daily work schedules and prepare rooms for procedures in the electrophysiology lab. Assist the nursing and physician team with technical aspects of ablations, cardiac implants, and other procedures. Ensure quality control standards are met while maintaining patient comfort and minimizing radiation exposure through proper technical exposure factors. Program digital computers, Schonander film stands, and contrast injectors. Collaborate with physicians on orders, x-ray requisitions, and lab results. Manage radiation safety and coordinate continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred
