Job Summary
Coordinate daily work schedules and prepare examination rooms for the Interventional Radiology team. Assist with the performance of all departmental and non-departmental examinations, including programming digital computers, Schönander film stands, and contrast injectors. Ensure proper technical exposure factors to minimize radiation exposure while maintaining quality control and patient comfort. Collaborate with physicians on orders, requisitions, and lab results, and manage radiation safety protocols and continuing education coordination. This full-time, day position at RWJBarnabas Health includes an on-call and weekend rotation requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred
