Job Summary
Coordinate daily work schedules and prepare examination rooms for the Interventional Radiology team. Assist with the performance of all departmental and non-departmental examinations, ensuring proper technical exposure factors and radiation safety while maintaining patient comfort. Program digital computers, Schönander film stands, and contrast injectors to achieve quality control and assurance standards. Collaborate with physicians on orders, x-ray requisitions, and lab results. Maintain radiation safety protocols and coordinate continuing education. This full-time, day position includes an on-call and weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred
