Job Summary
Coordinate daily work schedules and prepare rooms for procedures, collaborating with physicians on orders, requisitions, and lab results. Manage technical exposure factors for digital and conventional equipment to minimize radiation while programming digital computers, Schönander film stands, and contrast injectors. Ensure quality control and assurance standards are met, maintain radiation safety protocols, and oversee continuing education. Assist the nursing and physician team in the technical execution of examinations for the Interventional Radiology department.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- 2 years radiology experience preferred
- Procedural Interventional Radiology experience preferred
- on-call requirement
- weekend rotation requirement
