Special Procedure Technologist

Coordinate daily work schedules and prepare examination rooms for the Interventional Radiology team. Assist with the performance and completion of all departmental and non-departmental examinations while ensuring proper technical exposure factors to minimize radiation exposure. Program digital computers, Schönander film stands, and contrast injectors, and maintain overall quality control and assurance standards. Collaborate with physicians on orders, x-ray requisitions, and lab results while prioritizing patient comfort. Maintain radiation safety and protection protocols and coordinate continuing education. Requires an active ARRT and NJ DEP license, BLS certification, and 2 years of radiology experience. Full-time day position with 40 hours weekly, including on-call and weekend rotation.
