Job Summary
Coordinate daily work schedules and prepare examination rooms for the Interventional Radiology team. Assist with the performance of all departmental and non-departmental examinations, including programming digital computers, Schönander film stands, and contrast injectors. Ensure proper technical exposure factors to minimize radiation exposure while maintaining quality control and patient comfort. Manage radiation safety, protect staff, and coordinate continuing education. Requires an active ARRT and NJ DEP license, BLS certification, and 2 years of radiology experience. Full-time day position with 40 hours weekly, on-call, and weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred
- Procedural Interventional Radiology experience preferred
