Job Summary
Coordinate daily work schedules and prepare examination rooms for the Interventional Radiology team. Assist physicians with orders, requisitions, and lab results while managing digital and conventional equipment to ensure proper technical exposure and minimize radiation. Program digital computers, Schönander film stands, and contrast injectors, and maintain quality control and safety standards. Provide patient comfort during procedures and oversee continuing education for radiation protection. This full-time day position includes an on-call and weekend rotation requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred
- Procedural Interventional Radiology experience preferred
- This is a Full-Time, Day position at 40 hours/week (4, 10-hour shifts, with an on-call and weekend rotation requirement)
