Job Summary
Coordinate daily work schedules and prepare examination rooms for the Interventional Radiology team. Assist in the performance of all departmental and non-departmental examinations while ensuring proper technical exposure factors to minimize radiation. Manage digital and conventional equipment, including programming digital computers, Schönander film stands, and contrast injectors. Maintain overall quality control and radiation safety standards while coordinating continuing education. Support patient comfort and technical standards throughout procedures. Requires an active ARRT and NJ DEP license, BLS certification, and 2 years of radiology experience. Includes 40 hours/week day shifts with on-call and weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred
