Job Summary
Coordinate daily work schedules and prepare rooms for procedures in the electrophysiology lab. Collaborate with physicians on orders, requisitions, and lab results while ensuring proper technical exposure factors with digital and conventional equipment to minimize radiation. Program digital computers, Schönander film stands, and contrast injectors. Maintain quality control and assurance standards while assuring patient comfort during ablations and cardiac implants. Manage radiation safety and protection, and coordinate continuing education. Work 36 hours per week in the evening shift.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred
