Job Summary
Coordinate daily work from a technical aspect for the nursing and physician team, assisting the Interventional Radiology group with preparation, performance, and completion of examinations. Manage proper technical exposure factors for digital and conventional equipment, including programming digital computers, film stands, and contrast injectors, while ensuring radiation safety and patient comfort. Collaborate on orders, requisitions, and lab results, and maintain quality control and assurance standards. Requires an active ARRT and NJ DEP license, BLS certification, and experience with interventional radiology procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred
- Procedural Interventional Radiology experience preferred
