Job Summary
Coordinate daily work schedules and prepare examination rooms for the Interventional Radiology team. Assist physicians with orders, requisitions, and lab results while managing digital and conventional equipment to ensure proper technical exposure and minimize radiation. Program digital computers, Schönander film stands, and contrast injectors to achieve quality control and assurance standards. Maintain patient comfort and safety through radiation protection protocols and coordinate continuing education. Requires active ARRT and NJ DEP license, BLS certification, and 40-hour day shifts with on-call and weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred
- Procedural Interventional Radiology experience preferred
