Job Summary
Coordinate daily work schedules and prepare examination rooms for the Interventional Radiology team. Assist physicians with orders, requisitions, and lab results while managing digital and conventional equipment to ensure proper technical exposure and minimize radiation. Program digital computers, Schönander film stands, and contrast injectors to achieve quality control standards. Maintain radiation safety protocols and oversee continuing education for staff. Ensure patient comfort throughout all procedures. This day shift role includes an on-call and weekend rotation requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- 2 years radiology experience preferred
- Procedural Interventional Radiology experience preferred
