Job Summary
Special Operations Case Manager (Part-Time) in the National Capitol Region at KBR. Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must possess a Secret or Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Current full, active, unrestricted RN or Licensed Clinical Social Worker license in any U.S. state, DC, PR, or U.S. territories (e.g., USVI, Guam)
- Minimum of two years nursing or case management experience
- Certification as a case manager by a recognized body (e.g., CCM, ANCC) or obtain within first year
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Ability to understand diagnoses to optimize function and self-care
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) in English
- Strong knowledge of discharge planning, patient education, and utilization review
- Knowledge of VA/DOD Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Familiarity with healthcare financial environment and resource stewardship
- Ability to consult with healthcare providers and negotiate services
- Compliance with professional ethics and state/federal laws
