Job Summary
Head Coach and Assistant Coach for Special Olympics Softball events. Responsible for coaching practices and competitions, providing supervision and safety oversight, ensuring medical forms are on hand, preparing game line-ups and field positions, and maintaining team equipment. May transport athletes by van or bus to events, communicate needs to the SO Coordinator, attend state meetings, and ensure background checks and trainings are up to date. Stipends: Head Coach $1,300; Assistant Coach $1,100. Canton, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of softball rules
- valid Ohio driver’s license and excellent driving record
- prior softball coaching experience preferred
- experience with DD population a plus
