Job Summary
Lead the Special Needs Ministry by recruiting, training, and developing volunteers while ensuring all safety protocols and background checks are completed. Build authentic relationships with families through one-on-one interactions and school visits, serving as a pastoral resource for spiritual guidance and practical support. Oversee programming across Kids, Students, and Adults age groups, designing inclusive curriculum and managing key events like Night to Shine and Special Needs Camp. Partner with the Kids and Students Ministries to integrate participants into broader church programming and collaborate with campus leadership to drive innovation. Utilize the Rock system for attendance and scheduling, monitor ministry metrics, and maintain clear documentation with staff and families. Uphold the ministry's vision of inclusivity and compassion across all touchpoints.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in ministry, education, child development, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading volunteers or staff in a church or children's ministry setting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale programming and volunteer coordination is a plus
