Job Summary
Provide direct care, supervision, and support for youth in a residential home environment during afternoon and evening hours. Help maintain a safe, structured living space while assisting youth with daily routines, including homework, meals, recreation, and bedtime preparation. Prepare snacks or meals, administer medications as directed, and provide transportation for activities and appointments. Assist youth in developing independence, social skills, and positive coping strategies through collaboration with the Horizons Residential Living team. This role offers full-time 2nd shift coverage (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) at Mooseheart Child City & School in Illinois, where you will help build brighter futures for youth with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification
- Ability to administer medications as directed and follow established care plans
