Job Summary
Special Medical Coordinator for URM fosters: coordinates medical and behavioral health services for unaccompanied refugee minor foster youth; acts as liaison between URM clients and community agencies; maintains accurate, up-to-date documentation in accordance with federal/state/agency regulations; develops provider networks and conducts outreach to ensure access to treatment and services; collaborates with URM staff to ensure appropriate service delivery, crisis intervention, and coordination of care; provides coaching to youth transitioning into Semi-Independent Living, supports foster parents, and participates in trainings; supports program compliance and quality improvement; requires strong communication, cultural sensitivity, and proficiency with Office applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years related professional and/or volunteer experience
- 1 year experience with unaccompanied/or immigrant children or youth in foster care system preferred
- Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred
