Job Summary
Operate a truck and manually unload/deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Build relationships with each customer and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations by maintaining a positive, friendly attitude. While this position does not require a Class A or B commercial driver's license, individuals hired who do possess such a license may be required on an as-needed basis to operate a tractor-trailer and will need to meet all DOT driver qualification requirements. Most drivers follow daily routes with excellent pay, paid vacation, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ years of age
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
- Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
- Class C/Standard Operator Driver License
- Must be able to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds
