Job Summary
Operate a Class C truck to safely and efficiently deliver meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies to assigned customer locations on a daily route schedule. Manually unload and deliver various products while building relationships with customers by maintaining a positive, friendly attitude and understanding their specific operational needs. While a Class A or B license is not required, drivers possessing one may be required on an as-needed basis to operate a tractor-trailer and must meet all DOT driver qualification requirements. This role involves daily routes with excellent pay, paid vacation, and holidays, alongside comprehensive healthcare and retirement benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ years of age
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
- Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
- Class C/Standard Operator Driver License
- Must be able to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds
