Job Summary
Field Investigator in SIU role: conduct on-site accident and property loss investigations, interview witnesses, perform online research, draft comprehensive investigative reports, and manage case documentation and expenses. Travel to scenes, interact with clients, and ensure accuracy in evidence collection and reporting. Requires at least 2 years SIU experience and an active PI license where required; valid driver's license and vehicle; equipment and digital tools for fieldwork.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of SIU experience with an investigative firm or insurance carrier.
- Former military or law enforcement background preferred.
- Active Private Investigator license or willingness to obtain one (where required by state).
- Active driver's license and valid auto insurance.
