Job Summary

Deliver Special Instruction services to infants, toddlers, and their families using evidence-based, family-centered practices within the context of Family Guided Routines Based Intervention. Collaborate with the IFSP team to support child and family outcomes while ensuring all clinical documentation is completed accurately within state and county timeframes. Maintain continuing education and training mandates, including required Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances, while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and federal Early Intervention laws. Work independently in family homes and community settings with flexibility to set your own schedule and manage caseload parameters. Achieva has supported individuals with disabilities and their families for over 70 years.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in early intervention, early childhood special education, early childhood education, child development, special education, or family studies
  • 1 year of experience working directly with preschool children with disabilities and their families
  • Valid Act 33 (Child Abuse) clearance
  • Valid Act 34 (Criminal Record) clearance
  • Valid FBI Clearances
  • Demonstrated commitment to state, county, and HIPAA regulatory compliance
  • Ability to provide Special Instruction services to infants, toddlers, and their families within the context of established early intervention practices and Family Guided Routines Based Intervention
  • Ability to clearly communicate and collaborate with all members of the child's IFSP team
  • Ability to ensure all required clinical and program documentation is completed accurately within state and county timeframes
  • Ability to maintain continuing education requirements for professional certification, as well as state and county early intervention training mandates
  • Ability to attend required state and county training sessions as requested
  • Ability to adhere strictly to all state, county, and federal Early Intervention laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and HIPAA guidelines

Desired Qualifications

  • University-supervised practicum/student teaching experience
