Job Summary
Deliver Special Instruction services to infants, toddlers, and families in home and community settings using evidence-based practices and Family Guided Routines Based Intervention. Collaborate with the IFSP team to support child and family outcomes while ensuring all clinical documentation meets state and county timeframes. Maintain professional certification and complete required training sessions and continuing education. Adhere strictly to federal laws, regulations, and HIPAA guidelines. Set your own schedule and manage caseload parameters as an independent contractor in Washington County.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in early intervention, early childhood special education, early childhood education, child development, special education, or family studies
- 1 year of experience working directly with preschool children with disabilities and their families
- Valid Act 33 (Child Abuse) clearance
- Valid Act 34 (Criminal Record) clearance
- Valid FBI Clearances
- Demonstrated commitment to state, county, and HIPAA regulatory compliance
- Bachelor's degree including at least 15 credit hours in early intervention, early childhood special education, early childhood education, child development, special education, or family studies
- 1 year of experience working directly with preschool children with disabilities and their families
- University-supervised practicum/student teaching experience
