Job Summary
Conduct special inspections within certified areas and perform ACI Level 1 and compaction testing as assigned. Submit report forms for all inspections and testing at the end of each shift. Maintain current ICC and DOPL certifications while managing vehicle maintenance and completing monthly vehicle reports. Observe and assist with technician training and reports. This role supports service center managers throughout the organization with strategic and operational oversight. Candidates must hold an ICC Reinforced Concrete and/or Structural Masonry certification, a State of Utah DOPL license, and a valid driver's license. Utah Testing and Engineering offers a competitive compensation package dependent on experience and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- ICC Reinforced Concrete and/or Structural Masonry certification
- ACI Level II certification
- State of Utah DOPL license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to maintain company vehicle
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Capability and desire to become certified for ICC Prestressed Concrete Special Inspector
- Capability and desire to become certified for Spray Applied Fire Proofing
- Capability and desire to become certified for Structural Steel/Bolting
